Over generations, storytelling has been at the heart of all Australians. From bedtime stories to campfire yarns, it’s in our blood. As part of this heritage, Storytellers Distillery's goal is to carry these traditions forward through sustainably crafted spirits.

As the first volume from Storytellers Distillery, this Australian Dry Gin heroes Tableland Strawberry Gum in a blend of ten traditional and native botanicals. This gin shines with ice, a splash of sparkling water and garnished with a fresh strawberry slice.

About Storytellers Distillery: Launching in late 2020, Storytellers Distillery came about – in part – as a result of the initial Sydney Covid lockdown in April 2020. Co-founder Lachlan Gunner is a former theoretical and experimental physics student and more recently a world-class bartender (having placed in the top 20 of a world cocktail-making competition). With Covid forcing him to drive back to Adelaide from Sydney where he’d been managing a bar, Lachlan started thinking through options to move ahead in the face of his Adelaide quarantine and Sydney’s interminable lockdown.

Lachlan put his brain to work and soon got in contact with a group of like-minded friends who were interested in opening a distillery. Quarantine ended but it was only the start of the ideas . . . Storytellers Distillery launched towards the end of 2020.

Storytellers Distillery has a goal to release new gins like a cocktail list. So, rather than seasonally – four products a year – they are looking to up the scale of those releases quite dramatically.

With a cellar door looking straight into the distillery area on First Street, Brompton SA, this is a distillery that invites customer to look through the window as their latest volume is distilled, whilst tasting the current volume and sharing the experiance – and a story or two – with close friends.
