Paper Lantern is an award-winning Premium Asian Gin crafted with select botanicals sourced from the region. Gin Reimagined with the silkiness of rice, warmth from Sichuan pepper, citrus from lemongrass, finished off with the sweetness from honey. A contemporary international award-winning gin with earthy and floral notes. The flavours are infinitely versatile in cocktails and cited as a reason to keep coming back for more by bartenders and consumers around the world.

All the botanicals are sourced from Asia, besides the Juniper Berries. Sichuan peppercorn, makhwaen – a cousin of the Sichuan peppercorns native to Northern Indochina – ginger, galangal, lemongrass and other Asian herbs and spices are hand cut and macerated in the rice base spirit before being distilled in a Holstein copper pot still with a top mounted column for superior flavor extraction and spirit rectification. The distillates are then slowly blended and finished with a light kiss of longan berry honey, directly sourced from nearby villages in Northern Vietnam.

Botanicals: Juniper berries, ginger, galangal, lemongrass, Makhwaen pepper, Sichuan peppercorns, longan berry honey and other Asian herbs and spices.

Tasting notes:

• Sichuan peppercorns contribute aromatic hints of pine and clove along with more herbal overtones of plum and lavender.
• Makhwaen pepper and lemongrass add a distinctive citrus high note to balance out the warm base coming from the ginger and galangal.

Serving suggestions: Smooth and vibrant on its own, versatile in citrus-based cocktails or a time-honoured G&T.
